We invite you to help preserve the history of Irish immigration by sharing your family's journey to America.

Stories submitted through this website may become part of the Global Irish Famine Way Digital Story Archive and may be featured through a QR code located at the New Jersey Bronze Shoes Monument, allowing visitors to connect with the personal stories behind this historic memorial.

While we welcome stories from every generation of Irish immigration, we are especially interested in accounts from families whose ancestors emigrated during the 1800s, particularly during or following An Gorta Mór (The Great Hunger).

Please share your family's immigration story. If you have photographs, letters, ship manifests, passports, naturalization papers, newspaper articles, or other historical documents, we encourage you to upload them for review.
